a client interview. We view ourselves as an extension of the client’s Human Resources Department.

Mercer & Associates is led by Barney Mercer, CPCU, ARM. Mr. Mercer began his insurance career with the Hartford Insurance Group, following graduation from LSU, Baton Rouge, LA. Through a series of promotions, he was assigned to the home office as Director of Recruiting. He has held senior management positions in risk management and insurance brokerage. A former member of Lloyds of London, his 35 years of insurance experience have provided him with a sharp knowledge base of the industry and numerous contacts.
